We offer two 17-year-old expressions, further matured in both first fill sherry butts and port
pipes and bottled at 50.0% alcohol by volume. Our range also includes an 8-year-old blended malt, bottled at 40.0% alcohol by volume.
After the malt whiskies have been selected and blended together, they are returned to first-fill sherry and port casks for further maturation, ensuring total harmony and consistency.
No artificial colour has been added rather the casks have imparted the deep mahogany and russet hues that have been preserved by the absence of chill filtration at the time of bottling.
A soft sherry and sweet nose. Victoria plums and damsons. Dark chocolate raisins and currents. A nutty aftertaste with a hint of cream sherry. Soft caramel and marshmallows to finish.
Combining the best characteristics of Port Wine and Scotch Whisky. A fruity nose with delightful Port overtones. Honey and bitter orange with a soft creamy palate. Finishes with milk chocolate coated ginger then rose-petal Turkish delight.
Golden tones reminiscent of freshly harvested barley. Graceful, elegant and silky smooth with pear drops and peaches. Well balanced, medium-dry with hints of summer fruits and barley. Long finish with vanilla and marzipan.

Hart Brothers can trace their origins in the licensed trade back to the late 19th century when the family were licensed victuallers and publicans in Paisley, the mill town on the outskirts of Glasgow. It was not until 1964 that brothers Iain & Donald Hart incorporated the company as Wine & Spirit Wholesalers and Scotch Whisky Blenders.
Alistair Hart joined the company in 1975 and it was his responsibility as chief blender to source vintage casks of single malt whisky that were not readily available through any specialist whisky shop or online whisky site. Today, we continue to secure special and rare malt and grain whiskies that are further matured and only selected for single cask bottling after careful tasting and consideration.
