Distilled at Glenrothes Distillery in November 1996. Bottled Glasgow September 2013. Un-chill filtered, no artificial colouring. Aged 16 years old at 55.1% alcohol by volume.
Deliciously fruity nose with a medium to full body and a smooth, sweet finish.
The Distillery which was established in 1878, is one of five situated in the small town of Rothes. It is located beside the Burn of Rothes which flows from the Mannoch Hills into the River Spey. Blenders consider this one of the top malts and as such Glenrothes is at the heart of some of the finest blends such as Cutty Sark and The Famous Grouse.
