Auchentoshan Distillery, which was established in the early 1800’s, overlooks the River Clyde just 20 minutes from Glasgow City Centre. Auchentoshan is Scotland’s only triple distilled single malt. This unique distilling process – whereby the spirit is not distilled twice as elsewhere in Scotland, but instead, distilled three times produces a delicate, smooth and light single malt. Auchentoshan is one of five remaining Lowland distilleries. The other four being Glenkinchie, Bladnoch, Daftmill in production December 2005 and Ailsa Bay in production 2009.
